The game needs finer granularity in mouse sensitivity. 1 is already far, far too high. Can't play it.

Hi makkE,

setting the mouse speed to 1 should actually result in a rather slow/moderate setting. What OS are you using and do you have any special mouse setting in the OS?

Greetings

I use winxp, mouse settings on default, mouse acceleration fix applied.
I use a Logitech g5 without drivers.

Even on 400dpi (lowest setting of that mouse), @ 1024x768, mouse movement translates to ca. 8cm for moving the curser from left to right in it's full "extension" (I guess you know what I mean). I would rather have one left-to-right movement be somewhere around 20 or 30 cm.

I use a large mousepad and am used to play low/mid sens. In fps games this means anything from 50cm for a 360 turn to 25cm/360 depending on the game.

Ideally, I'd like to be able to set my mouse to 0.15 or something. (or can I do it already via cfg files maybe?)

Setting the lowest as default is not such a good idea imho. Why not make the current 1 a 5 ,so everyone has a chance to lower the default if they desire?

Nowadays, people's mouse settings can differ extremely, think about those new 4000dpi mice compared to still in use or cheap 400-800dpi... I don't think you can assume "it's fine here on my box, so it should be fine on anyone else's" anymore.
Also, only 10 increments is hardly enough to fine tune mouse sensitivity.

I've filed a bug report on the issue, so maybe we can come up with a solution for this in the next update of the game.
